Analysing Teen Title Sequences - Institutional Differences
Teen Drama films, and all films, are produced by either a mainstream or independent production company. One of the key differences or issues between these two types of ownership, is that of budget and the impact that has on many aspects of the film.
Look at the 4 title sequences below, use your worksheet to list the title credits and the order we see them in for all 4 openings. Make notes on each film and then, using IMDB research into their budget, type of release and how much they made at the box office.
Then, make some conclusions about which of the 4 films are mainstream films and which are independently produced and how this affects the title sequences and especially the actual credits that we see.
